The medical waste which floated up on a New Jersey beach recently was allegedly dumped by a dentist. If this is true and the dentist did dump the waste, what a jerk!
It makes me wonder how much it costs to legally dispose of medical waste. I guess it must be expensive, but how could it be so expensive that someone would risk going to jail by disposing of it illegally?
The crime can result in five years in prison, and no doubt will cost the dentist major money for legal defense.
Even if the waste is extraordinarily expensive, I doubt it could top the expenses facing the offender.
